Ride BMX - June 2006
The new Ride BMX Magazine is out and our scene is definitely getting some coverage. On page 32, the Quicklook section takes a look at Rochester, Minnesota. The article focuses on the street, trails, parks, and riders of Rochester, written by Kurt Hohberger. The photo of Downtown Rochester was also taken by Kurt. On page 96, Big D Darrin Treanor has a full page sequence of a Barspin-to-footjam at the Anthem park in Vegas. Eric Holley is also mentioned in the side news section. There are a lot of other good photos and articles in this issue, so go run to your local library-

JoMo Pro/Am BMX Park Comp
April 7-9 Autumn Ramp Park www.autumnramppark.com in Joplin, MO will be holding its Grand Opening.
Autumn is a 20,000 sq ft indoor skatepark designed and built by Pro BMXer and Ramp Builder Nate Wessel, Pro Skateboarder and Fonder of Untitled Skateboards Jud Heald, and American Ramp Company international skatepark design and construction company based in Joplin, MO.
As part of the Grand Opening activities they will be hosting the First Annual JoMo Pro/Am Skate and BMX park contest www.jomopro.net. There will be a combined Pro purse of $20,000 on the line along with tons of product prizes for the amature classes. There will also be best trick contests and High ollie and High bunny hop contests held.
April 6 Lucero in Concert at 6pm - April 7 Practice sessions - April 8 Pro and Am (expert) Skate comps - April 9 Pro and Am (expert) BMX comps - There will only be 35 spots available for each class. Pre registration is available on-line at www.jomopro.net where you can also find pictures of the park, lodging information, daily schedules, etc.
